How do i qualify for the German SCA Meisterschaft ?

Whenever you take part of a SCA competition held in Germany, you have a German nationality and have a official residence in Germany you automaticly take part of the German SCA Meisterschaft.

How does the points calculating works for the German SCA Meisterschaft ?

For the steak category we are using the best of 3 method. For the ancillary category we are using the best of 2 method.

For example, we take your 3 highest scores in the steak category and we add up. example when you have 5 scores 200,200,200,200,180. youre score will be 600 points. When you dont have more then 3 scores we add all youre scores together. The same applys to the ancillary category only then we pick the 2 highest scores. We only keep track of the top 10 from each turnin, if you are not in the top 10 it will not be added to your score list for the German SCA Meisterschaft.

How many competitions must i participate in ?

we use the "best of 3" method, every steak or ancillary turnin (not competition) you do wil count as a score if you are in the top 10 of that categorie. Some competitions have multiple steak and ancillary turnins. You can participate in as much competitions as you want to keep your "best of 3" average high. But it is not mandotory to do 3 Turnins.
