How do i qualify for the Belgium SCA Championship ?

Whenever you take part of a SCA competition held in Belgium, you have a Belgium nationality and have a official residence in Belgium you automaticly take part of the Belgium SCA Championship.

How does the points calculating works for the Belgium SCA Championship ?

We are using the best of 4 method. SCA uses the following points to ranking.

  • 1st place, 10 points
  • 2nd place, 9 points
  • 3rd place, 8 points
  • 4th place, 7 points
  • 5th place, 6 points
  • 6th place, 5 points
  • 7th place, 4 points
  • 8th place, 3 points
  • 9th place, 2 points
  • 10th place, 1 point

We take your 4 highest scores and we add up. example when you have 5 scores 8,8,8,8,4. youre score will be 32 points. When you dont have 4 scores we add all youre scores together. We only keep track of the top 10 from each turnin, if you are not in the top 10 it will not be added to your score list for the Belgium SCA Championship.

How many competitions must i participate in ?

we use the "best of 4" method, every steak or ancillary turnin (not competition) you do wil count as a score if you are in the top 10 of that categorie. Some competitions have multiple steak and ancillary turnins. You can participate in as much competitions as you want to keep your "best of 4" average high. But it is not mandotory to do 4 Turnins.
